Koolu - Works Everywhere

Koolu has pledged to donate $1 to Earth University for every person that signs up for a free copy of Google Apps. This fundraising event will benefit the ongoing research and development of green computing technology such as that used in Koolu’s Extreme Green Computer, which reduces the need for electricity by 90%.EARTH University, which is located in the humid tropics of Costa Rica, is a private, non-profit, international university that first opened in 1990.

The university aims to contribute to the sustainable development of the humid tropics, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean. The program emphasizes the development of ethics and positive values, entrepreneurship, social and environmental awareness and solid technical and scientific knowledge. Earth University has approximately 400 students, 80% of whom are sponsored by scholarships funded by private donors, companies and institutions from around the world.
