Q. How can I pay for my Koolu Order? Q. Do the Thin Client and Net Appliance come with power supplies for various countries? A. We currently have power supplies for North America, EU, UK and Australia. Each unit will be shipped with the appropriate power supply for the destination country. Q. What are the costs for shipping either the Thin Client or Net Appliance? A. Approximate rates for shipping, handling and insurance are as follows (All prices are in CAD):

Q. How long will it take before the order is shipped? A. Orders are usually shipped within three business days of payment being received in full. Q. Will I be notified when when my order is shipped? A. You will be notified, by e-amil, when your order is shipped. You will also receive a tracking number for the shipment which you can track through the Canada Post website at: www.canadapost.ca Q. Will I have to pay import duties, taxes and/or broker fees? A. All orders are shipped F.O.B. Toronto, Canada, therefore, the recipient is responsible for any and all applicable duties, taxes and/or broker fees. Shipping fees paid to Koolu cover the cost of shipping, handling and insurance only Q. The Thin Client is no longer on the shopping cart. Is it still available to purchase? A. We are currently have a very limited number of Thin Clients in stock. What is the main difference between the Thin Client and Net Appliance? A. The Thin Client has 512RAM and the Net Appliance has 512RAM, 80GB Hard Drive and has the Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty) operating system installed. Q. Is it possible to install my own 2.5" IDE hard disk in the Thin client? A. You can install any 2.5" hard drive that has an IDE interface and is 80GB or less. Included with the Thin Client is the hard drive tray, IDE connector and screws. Q. Can the Thin Client start from the USB or maybe a CFM memory module? A. The Thin Client can be booted from USB devices such as Flash drives, USB hard drives, USB cd roms. Q. Does the Thin Client include a wireless LAN card?

Q. Which version of Ubuntu is installed on the Net Appliances? A. The Net Appliance has Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty) installed. Q. Can I download the updates to Ubuntu 7.04? A. Yes you can download all available updates to Ubuntu 7.04. Q. Can I upgrade to Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy)? A. In the Gutsy release series of Ubuntu and derivative releases, there is an issue with the xorg autodetection of video hardware on the Koolu Net Appliance, therefore; we do not recommend upgrading to Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy). Q. I upgraded from Ubuntu 7.04 to 7.10 and my Net Appliance no longer works. How do I reinstall Ubuntu 7.04? A. To reinstall Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty) on the Net Appliance:
1) Download, and burn the following ISO image: http://mirrors.kernel.org/ubuntu-releases/7.04/ubuntu-7.04-desktop-i386.iso
2) Boot Koolu Net Appliance using a USB-CDROM drive
3) Follow and complete the Install process.
Q. Does the Net Appliance include a wireless LAN card?

A. The BIOS does not allow the Net Appliance to automatically reboot after a power failure.
Q. When will the W.E. Phone be available for developers?
A. The W.E. Phone will be available for developers in June 2008.
